The Hidden Garden is one of the collection of "Life of Saigon". Hidden garden is place where we use to go to find my husband's gadget. I do not know exactly the name of this place but I called it Hidden Garden to it's location which located hidden in an alley. Surrounding this area there are shops selling gadgets , speaker and a cafe. I like this place as it still remains its original architecture of Vietnam-French Colonial design.
The following is retrieval from my manuscript entitled "The Sketch of Life in Saigon"
This sketch is about a place I visited in Ho Chi Minh which is located near to the airport. Me and family were on the gadget hunting in the city of Ho Chi Minh, when we were brought to this beautiful place, the hidden garden. This garden is actually an open concept café located at the center of small alley that housing few small gadgets shops.
Interestingly, this open concept garden café also displaying artwork photos of local’s photographers. This café always become a venue for photography’s workshop and exhibition. It serves nice coffee, juices and desserts too for visitors to enjoy.
What I like most about this place is, it’s structure and location. It looks like a remnant of colonial residents that left abandoned which then found and re-liven with a new function and concept. That’s what the locals are brilliant at and that’s why you can easily found artisan café concept in this living growing city. But this one is an exceptional, as the remnant create a cozy and privacy ambiance that most of nature’s lovers are looking for.
